About this page
This page describes the Global Data Governance Study Group operated by the Digital Agency. It supports the Japanese government's efforts to realize DFFT (Data Free Flow with Trust) within international frameworks under OECD, reflecting information and requests from Japanese companies and stakeholders regarding cross-border data transfers. The study group, chaired by experts, has held five meetings from January 2024 to January 2025. It also developed the "Data Governance Guidelines" to guide companies in maximizing data utilization and sustainable value creation during their DX initiatives.
