This page describes the 7th meeting of the Digital System Reform Study Group held on September 25, 2024, conducted online. Two agenda items were discussed: promoting the use of base registries and overview of analog regulation reforms. The base registry bill was passed by the Diet, and system implementation will proceed. Policy effects are evaluated by calculating time savings from reduced document attachments, automated data entry, and simplified change notifications, converting these savings into monetary value from both citizen convenience and administrative efficiency perspectives.
