About this page
This page presents information about the Technology-Based Regulatory Reform Promotion Committee under Japan's Digital Agency. The committee, established under the Digital-Related System Reform Study Group, promotes analog regulation reviews through digital technology utilization. It examines digital technologies applicable to cross-cutting regulatory reforms and assesses the feasibility of applying verified technologies to other regulations. Since the first meeting in December 2023, multiple sessions have been held. The committee develops technology catalogs and operates the RegTech Community to facilitate information sharing among stakeholders working on regulatory modernization through technological innovation.
