About this page
This page profiles Ikuo Misumi, the Digital Auditor at Japan's Digital Agency. Born in October 1962 in Tokyo, he graduated from the University of Tokyo's Faculty of Engineering and earned a doctorate in precision mechanical engineering. He joined the Ministry of International Trade and Industry in 1987 and has held numerous key positions in information security and cybersecurity policy. His career includes roles at the Information-technology Promotion Agency, the Cabinet Office, and the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry. He became Digital Auditor at the Digital Agency in November 2024.
