This page describes "AED GO," an AED transportation support system developed by Dawn Corporation. It connects 119 emergency calls with volunteer responders via a smartphone app to deliver AEDs quickly to cardiac arrest scenes before ambulances arrive. Despite over 500,000 AEDs being installed in Japan, usage remains at only 4%. However, cardiopulmonary resuscitation combined with AED use increases survival rates 4.7 times. Developed in collaboration with Kyoto University and the Japan AED Foundation, the system has progressed from pilot testing in Owariasahi City to full operation, aiming to improve cardiac arrest survival rates.
