This page is the comprehensive information site for the Consumer Safety Regional Councils (monitoring networks) operated by the Consumer Affairs Agency. Following the amendment of the Consumer Safety Act in June 2014, local governments, welfare workers, medical professionals, police, consumer organizations, and private businesses collaborate to protect elderly people and persons with disabilities from consumer fraud through monitoring activities. The site provides information on the roles, initiatives, and tips for monitoring these networks. As of March 2026, 580 municipalities have established such councils.
