This page presents the table of contents for the 2022 Consumer White Paper published by the Consumer Affairs Agency. It covers consumer accident information aggregation and analysis, consumer consultation trends, and recent consumer issues in Part 1. Part 2 features a special section on changing youth consumption patterns and sustainable development initiatives related to the new adult age starting at 18. In fiscal 2021, 14,941 consumer accidents were reported, with 12,227 hazard and danger cases collected in PIO-NET. While elderly consultation cases remain high, complaints related to SNS are increasing.
