This page provides a consumer alert from the Consumer Affairs Agency regarding fraud schemes exploiting the My Number Point program. The agency warns that official procedures for obtaining a My Number Card or making My Number Point reservations will never request personal information such as My Number, account details, PIN numbers, asset information, or family composition via phone calls, nor will they request money. The Consumer Affairs Agency and Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications jointly issue this caution to prevent fraud-related damages.
