This page reports that a reagent kit for amphetamine detection, which was lost at Osaka Police's Izumisano Station, has been found. The kit was discovered on April 4 in the trunk of an investigation vehicle parked at the station. The kit, containing hazardous substances including concentrated sulfuric acid, was deployed in February and stored in a locked refrigerator. Officers discovered one package missing on April 1 when attempting to use it. The kit was found intact in its original bag with no signs of use. The police revealed that required record-keeping procedures were not properly followed.
