This page reports on a convenience store robbery in Gifu City. On April 1st at 6:30 PM, a 47-year-old man threatened a 20-year-old female employee with a steak knife and demanded money. He stole 199,000 yen from the cash register and fled. Approximately three hours later, the man voluntarily turned himself in to the Nakamura Police Station in Nagoya, carrying the knife and stolen cash. He was emergency arrested. The employee was unharmed and the man has admitted to the charges.
