This page reports on a fire incident at Shibuya Scramble Crossing in Tokyo. A 50-year-old man from Nagoya spread gasoline in the middle of the intersection and lit it with a lighter, causing a small fire that burned some plastic bottles. He voluntarily turned himself in to police shortly after and was arrested on suspicion of obstructing traffic. He admitted to the charges and was found carrying cardboard stating "Japan has been almost taken over." Police are investigating his motives and circumstances.
