This page describes Japan's Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) internship program for 2025. The program offers practical work experience from July 22 to September 12 for 3-5 days. Students can choose from three fields: administrative management and statistics, local government administration, or digital industry and ICT policy. Approximately 120 interns will be placed in various MIC divisions in Tokyo. No prior knowledge is required, and young staff members provide support. Online recruitment briefings are scheduled for April 21, 24, 30, and May 9. Participants must cover their own expenses and maintain appropriate insurance coverage.
