This page reports the measurement results of radioactive strontium and plutonium in food distributed throughout Japan, conducted by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare in September-October 2012 and February-March 2013 across 15 nationwide regions. Strontium-90 was detected in some samples, but all levels remained within pre-accident ranges. Plutonium was not detected. The ministry will continue conducting such surveys to verify food safety.
