This page describes the Digital Coordination and Emergency Response Team (D-CERT) operated by the Digital Agency. Following the successful digital support provided by private sector professionals during the 2024 Noto Peninsula earthquake, the government established D-CERT to assist affected prefectures with disaster response through digital solutions. When large-scale disasters occur, D-CERT deploys to affected areas to propose and implement necessary digital support services, such as evacuation management systems. The team is a collaboration between the Digital Agency, the Public-Private Co-creation Council for Disaster Prevention DX, and the Disaster Resilience Digital Coordination Center.
