This page describes the EBPM Promotion Committee Secretariat, which was abolished on April 1, 2023. The secretariat was established to promote Evidence-Based Policy Making (EBPM) through coordinated discussions among related government ministries. Chaired by a Cabinet Secretariat Counselor, it held two meetings in 2022. The EBPM Promotion Committee was subsequently reorganized under the Administrative Reform Promotion Conference, chaired by the Prime Minister, which handles investigation and deliberation of important administrative reform matters.
