This page describes the EBPM Promotion Committee, a government-wide initiative to advance Evidence-Based Policy Making. Established under the Data Strategy Promotion Working Group and chaired by the Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary, the committee held two meetings in November 2021 and June 2022 before being dissolved on April 1, 2023. Following its dissolution, its functions were transferred under the Administrative Reform Promotion Council. Associated sub-working groups were also discontinued at the same time.
