This page documents the third meeting of the Digital Agency's "Technology-Based Regulatory Reform Promotion Committee" held on March 17, 2025. Conducted online and chaired by Professor Hiroshi Esaki from the University of Tokyo, the committee comprised 12 members including university professors, corporate executives, and specialists. The secretariat presented progress on technology-based regulatory reform and future approaches, followed by opinion exchange. Since its establishment in October 2022, the committee aims to accelerate review of regulations and administrative services non-compliant with digital principles, build knowledge bases for technology utilization, promote horizontal deployment, and foster market creation.
