Results of the Solicitation for Opinions on the Draft Ministerial Ordinance Partially Amending the Radio Equipment Regulations (hereinafter the "Draft Ministerial Ordinance") and Another Regulatory Document, and the Report from the Radio Regulatory Council

This page announces the results of a public consultation on a draft ministerial ordinance to amend the Radio Equipment Regulations for introducing an advanced Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) system using the 22GHz band. The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) conducted the solicitation from December 18, 2025, to January 21, 2026, receiving seven opinions. Following the consultation results, the MIC consulted the Radio Regulatory Council, which approved the draft as appropriate. Based on these findings, the MIC will promptly revise the relevant regulations to establish the regulatory framework for the advanced FWA system.
