This page explains the use of My Number Cards as health insurance certificates. As all traditional health insurance certificates expire on December 1, 2025, My Number insurance cards will become the standard from December 2 onwards. Initial registration is required through three methods: facial recognition card readers, My Number Portal, or Seven Bank ATMs. Individuals without My Number Cards or those not registered will receive certificate of eligibility from their health insurance provider at no cost. At medical facilities, cards are read through facial recognition readers and identity verified via facial recognition or four-digit PIN.
