This page introduces the Corporate Base Registry provided by the Digital Agency. It is a centralized database containing corporate information such as company names and addresses, which government agencies can access online. The system reduces the burden on businesses by eliminating the need to obtain and attach certificates of registered matters, while streamlining administrative operations. As of March 2026, approximately 900 local governments and 14 national agencies are registered users. The implementation is expected to streamline approximately 20 million annual procedures and reduce cumulative burden by approximately 447.8 billion yen over five years.
