This page announces the second recruitment for FY2026 projects involving standardization of local government information systems and optimization of operations following Government Cloud migration. A key change is that Sakura Cloud was designated as an eligible Government Cloud service on March 27, 2026, making it available for selection in this project. Eligible vendors must plan to begin using the Government Cloud between May and September 2026 and be able to terminate systems and delete data by March 31, 2027. Vendors must select and conduct verification on at least one of four focus areas: data connectivity, service delivery efficiency, infrastructure optimization, or operational excellence.
