This page describes the Consumer Affairs Agency's work on consumer research and international cooperation. The CAA conducts annual basic surveys on consumer life and estimates consumer detriment since 2013, publishing findings in the White Paper on Consumer Affairs. Recognizing that consumer issues transcend borders—including cross-border e-commerce disputes, dark patterns in digital interfaces, and foreign product safety concerns—the CAA collaborates with international authorities. Through participation in organizations such as the OECD Committee on Consumer Policy (OECD CCP) and the International Consumer Protection and Enforcement Network (ICPEN), the agency exchanges views and addresses emerging cross-border consumer challenges.
