This page features Maiyoshi Arai from Kumagaya, Saitama, who has autism spectrum disorder (ASD). After experiencing school non-attendance in elementary school, she found a supportive teacher in junior high. Following university graduation, she worked as a support staff member at her alma mater's inclusive education classroom for six years, serving as a bridge between students with and without disabilities. In 2025, she left to obtain certification as a special education specialist. Now she explores new possibilities while embracing her own characteristics.
