This document provides an analysis aimed at estimating the demand for electric vehicle charging infrastructure in the U.S. by 2030. Created by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), this report is supported by the Joint Office of Energy and Transportation and the U.S. Department of Energy. It presents data and methodologies to assess the necessity of charging infrastructure, taking into account the demand for light-duty electric vehicles (EVs).
