This document reports that the Kanto Transport Bureau has revoked the designation of Harumi Corporation, a private vehicle inspection facility in Chiba Prefecture, due to fraudulent vehicle inspections. An audit revealed that the company issued safety standard compliance certificates without conducting certain required inspections, violating the Road Transport Vehicle Act. Specifically, the failure to conduct speedometer error checks on 110 vehicles was highlighted. Additionally, four vehicle inspectors were dismissed as part of the administrative action.
