This page is a Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare press release from October 5, 2022, announcing special approvals for COVID-19 vaccines. Two approvals were granted: Comirnaty intramuscular injection for 6 months to 4 years old, and a partial change in approval for Comirnaty RTU. The pediatric vaccine requires three doses diluted in saline (second dose after 3 weeks, third dose after 8 weeks). The RTU formulation adds a bivalent vaccine targeting the original strain and Omicron BA.4-5, with two initial immunizations and booster dosing approved.

このページは新型コロナウイルスワクチンの特例承認についての情報を提供しています。令和4年10月5日、コミナティ筋注6ヵ月～4歳用およびコミナティRTU筋注に関して特例承認が行われました。コミナティ筋注は6ヵ月から4歳用で、SARS-CoV-2感染症の予防に使用されます。用法は、日局生理食塩液で希釈し、合計3回接種します。また、コミナティRTU筋注では、起源株やオミクロン株に対応する2価ワクチンが追加されており、免疫接種の間隔については引き続き検討中です。
