We edited fictional pricing and terms pages, captured both versions in a browser, and compared them with Kiroku’s existing comparison code. These are controlled examples, not customer records.

What this test covers

Each pair came from the same local URL before and after an edit. The existing text extraction, comparison and notification-selection code detected the change; an unchanged pair produced no notification. Storage reads used local files and email output was intercepted. This does not measure production capture success, six-hour scheduling, email delivery or external timestamps.

From purchase to your first monitored URL

  1. 1. Sign in from your email

Complete Pro checkout, then open the invitation or sign-in link sent to the same email address.

  2. 2. Confirm and start the URL

Review the URL in Monitoring and select ‘Start monitoring this URL’. Payment alone does not start a monitor.

  3. 3. Check the first saved version

Confirm that the first capture completed. Later checks run about every six hours; review errors and saved versions in the dashboard.

Check Pro pricing and subscription terms

Check these limits before subscribing

  • Checks are periodic, about every six hours. Changes made and reverted between checks may be missed; this is not an instant stock or uptime alert.
  • Start with public pages accessible without signing in. Login screens, access restrictions and rendering differences can prevent a useful capture.
  • The record contains versions that were successfully captured. Monitoring cannot recover content deleted before the first save or guarantee the last moment before deletion.
  • An access failure is not proof that the publisher deleted the page. Review the saved result and any error before drawing conclusions.

Checks about every 6 hours

Kiroku keeps checking the same URL so you do not have to revisit important pages by hand.

Saves the changed page

When a change appears, Kiroku keeps the screenshot, HTML, URL, and capture time for that version.

Notifications and history

Alerts help you notice the change, while the dashboard keeps the saved versions and diffs for review.
