The program appoints experts proficient in addressing regional issues through ICT and data utilization as advisors and dispatches them upon request from local governments. Launched in fiscal 2007, the program covers travel and remuneration costs for applicants, offering up to 3 days of dispatch per request (up to 21 hours for online support). In fiscal 2024, 242 advisors were commissioned, specializing in diverse fields including open data, municipal systems, telework, and cybersecurity.
