This page reports the Fair Trade Commission's consumer tax transfer measures in the Okinawa region for fiscal year 2019. The Okinawa Fair Trade Office established a special investigation team to address tax transfer refusal acts swiftly and strictly. In fiscal year 2019, eight guidance cases were issued in Okinawa, targeting manufacturing, retail, real estate, and technical service industries. Nationally, 743 guidance cases and 6 recommendation cases were recorded. Since the Consumer Tax Transfer Special Measures Act's implementation, cumulative nationwide figures total 3,159 guidance cases and 54 recommendations.
