This document presents the financial results for the fiscal year ending May 31, 2023, of Village Vanguard Corporation. For this period, the consolidated sales were 25,282 million yen, a decrease of 5.5% compared to the previous year. Operating profit fell by 62.9% to 130 million yen, while ordinary profit decreased by 67.8% to 135 million yen. The net profit attributable to the parent company was 28 million yen, down 75.4%. Although the economy is recovering from the impacts of COVID-19, challenges such as geopolitical risks and rising prices continue to affect consumer behavior.
