Consumer Education Promotion Council | CAA

This page describes the Consumer Education Promotion Council, established under the Act on Promotion of Consumer Education that came into force in December 2012. The Council aims to comprehensively and systematically promote consumer education by exchanging information and coordinating among members from diverse fields including consumers, business operators, educators, consumer and business organizations, and administrative bodies. By facilitating discussions and information sharing from various perspectives, the Council enables more practical consumer education. The Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology prepare drafts and provide opinions on the Basic Policy on Consumer Education Promotion approved by the Cabinet.
