このページは、総務省がLINEヤフー株式会社に対し、特定利用者情報の適正な管理と外部送信規律の遵守を求める指導を行ったことを報告しています。LINEヤフー社は、関連会社Treenod Inc.が利用者の承認なしに特定利用者情報を第三者へ漏えいさせたことが発覚し、約803万件のデータが外部に送信されたことが問題視されました。総務省は、再発防止策の実施を求め、再発を防ぐための文書による指導を行ったとしています。
