This document announces that Kitabo Co., Ltd. will begin purchasing Bitcoin. Following the approval at the 102nd Annual General Meeting held on June 30, 2025, the company has decided to acquire Bitcoin as part of its entry into the cryptocurrency and RWA-related business. The purchase will be funded by part of the capital raised through a third-party allotment of new shares, amounting to 800 million yen, and will be conducted through domestic cryptocurrency exchanges. Bitcoin has established its position as a significant digital asset, and the company plans to utilize it for business expansion both domestically and internationally. While the impact on the fiscal year ending March 2026 is not included in the earnings forecast, the valuation gains and losses of the Bitcoin holdings will be recorded quarterly.
