This page presents information about radio frequency equipment from the Kinki Regional Bureau of Telecommunications, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. Radio frequency equipment refers to devices using high-frequency current energy of 10 kilohertz or higher for communication, medical, and industrial purposes. Since leakage from these devices may interfere with wireless communications, certain equipment requires permission before installation. Applications or notifications are necessary for equipment installation, expansion, relocation, or discontinuation. Equipment with type designation or type confirmation is exempt from permission requirements. From October 1, 2025, permission certificates will be digitalized and accessible online.
