This page reports that Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry instructed Chubu Electric Power to strengthen measures preventing recurrence of its failure to complete settlement procedures for safety improvement work at Hamaoka Nuclear Power Plant in Shizuoka Prefecture. The issue was discovered in November last year. METI issued reporting orders based on the Electricity Business Law in November last year and January this year. Chubu Electric Power submitted a report at the end of March.
