This page announces the second meeting of the expert committee on promoting visitor attraction to Upopoy (National Ainu Museum and Park), held on November 10, 2023. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's Hokkaido Bureau is developing a visitor promotion strategy to reach one million annual visitors to Upopoy, which opened in July 2020 as a center for Ainu culture revival and creation. The committee was established in September 2023 to provide advice on the strategy.
