Fair Use Policy
Kiroku Pro is built so normal customers can work without counting every action. This policy explains how we protect the service when usage becomes unusually heavy, risky, or abusive.
Last updated: April 3, 2026
1. Purpose
We want routine use to feel broad and practical. At the same time, Kiroku runs on shared infrastructure and processes that can be abused through extreme automation, unusually heavy monitoring, or bulk archiving patterns.
This policy exists to keep the service reliable, secure, and reasonably available for everyone.
2. What standard use usually looks like
- Manual saving of pages as part of ordinary research, compliance, evidence preservation, or recordkeeping work
- Reasonable recurring monitoring for a set of URLs that reflects human-scale business or personal workflows
- Private archives, evidence packs, exports, and searches used by one customer organization or one individual account holder
3. Usage that may trigger review
- Monitoring intervals that are unusually aggressive compared with ordinary product usage
- Large bursts of saves, crawls, or exports in a short period of time
- Automation patterns that create disproportionate infrastructure load or queue pressure
- Use of one account for multiple unrelated users, credential sharing, resale, or white-label redistribution
- Attempts to bypass technical controls, rate limits, or workflow restrictions
We evaluate patterns in context. One legitimate spike is not treated the same as sustained abusive behavior.
4. Actions we may take
- Ask you to change settings or reduce unusually heavy monitoring
- Temporarily rate-limit, queue, defer, or cap high-load workflows
- Recommend a different plan or a custom arrangement better suited to your usage
- Suspend or terminate access in cases of serious abuse, security risk, non-payment, or repeated policy violations
5. No fixed public numeric cap
We do not promise a single public numeric threshold that applies in every situation because infrastructure conditions, attack patterns, and product architecture change over time.
Instead, we look at whether a customer's usage remains consistent with standard use and whether it places undue risk or burden on the service.
6. Relationship to the Terms
This Fair Use Policy forms part of the rules for paid usage together with the Terms of Service and any plan-specific terms.
Nothing in this policy reduces rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.
