This page describes the Land Use Control bacK-up sYstem (LUCKY) managed by Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. LUCKY is a system that digitalizes basic land use plans formulated by prefectures under the National Land Use Planning Law and disseminates information online. The system provides thematic maps of basic land use plans, including urban areas, agricultural areas, forest areas, natural park areas, and natural conservation areas. Inquiries can be directed to the Real Estate and Construction Economics Bureau, Land Policy Division.
