About this page
This page describes the "Kakekomi Hotline," a reporting channel operated by Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism for Construction Business Law violations. With the full enforcement of the revised Construction Business Law on December 12, 2024, the system now accepts reports of potentially illegal transactions while maintaining anonymity. Reports can be submitted online or by phone (0570-018-240) and are used as leads for investigations. Reporters are protected from disadvantage. Reports are investigated through inspections, and violations result in strict administrative actions.
