This page announces changes to border control measures for the construction and real estate industries effective March 1, 2022. The previous advance screening by individual ministry departments has ended, and applicants must now use the unified government "Entrant Health Confirmation System (ERFS)" for online applications. Even those who previously applied to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism must reapply through the new system. Details are available on the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare website.
