This page provides statistical information on Japan's Basic Survey on Land conducted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. It presents survey overviews, methodologies, and legal bases, along with historical survey results. Multiple surveys including the Corporate Land and Building Basic Survey and Household Land Statistics are available in PDF and EXCEL formats, organized by prefecture and municipality nationwide. Detailed statistical tables are published on e-Stat. Comprehensive reports are no longer produced from the 2023 survey onward.
