About this page
This page describes the consultation service for the Land Expropriation Law established by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in April 2018. The service handles consultations regarding business authorization procedures, applicant inquiries, and interpretations of the Land Expropriation Law. Applicants should submit inquiries using the designated form via email to hqt-expr03@gxb.mlit.go.jp. Responses are provided primarily by telephone within approximately two weeks. Additionally, consultation windows have been established at regional development bureaus since June 2018 for relevant jurisdictions.
