About this page
This page provides information on Japan's support for overseas expansion of the transportation and tourism industries. The WTO was established in 1995 and covers not only goods but also services including transport, tourism, and construction-related sectors. Japan actively participates in service-related negotiations. Additionally, to address economic globalization, Japan promotes the conclusion of FTAs (Free Trade Agreements) and EPAs (Economic Partnership Agreements) to develop external economic relations and secure economic interests.
