About this page
This page describes the Japan-EU Environmentally Friendly Urban Transport Working Group, established in April 2001 at the Japan-EU High-Level Transportation Dialogue. The WG aims to promote information exchange on public transport utilization, automotive technology development, and TDM related to environment-friendly urban transport. Three meetings were held between 2002 and 2005 in Tokyo and Brussels, with Japanese and EU Commission representatives discussing public transport services, clean vehicles, mobility management, LRT projects, and road pricing policies.
