About this page
This page provides information about the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's Subcommittee on Water Disaster Countermeasures Considering Climate Change. Five meetings were held between November 2019 and June 2020 to address increasing water disasters due to climate change. In July 2020, a recommendation was compiled proposing a shift toward sustainable "watershed management" involving all stakeholders across entire river basins. The page contains committee member lists, meeting materials, and minutes of proceedings, presenting fundamental approaches and future directions for water disaster countermeasures.
