This page announces a Memorandum of Understanding exchanged on December 15, 2020, between Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Thailand's Ministry of Transport, State Railway of Thailand, and the Urban Renaissance Agency. The agreement aims to promote urban development around Bangkok's Bang Sue Central Station. Both parties agreed to strengthen mutual cooperation by exchanging knowledge, ideas, and experiences. Japan will share its urban development policies and case studies with Thai counterparts to further enhance bilateral cooperation in the urban development sector.
