This page announces the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's launch of the CNP Certification (Container Terminal) system on June 30, 2025. The system objectively evaluates decarbonization efforts at port container terminals to promote carbon-neutral port development. Eligible applicants include port authorities and private terminal operators managing public terminals nationwide. Applications are accepted free of charge through regional development bureaus handling each terminal. The certification supports decarbonization initiatives and the development of hydrogen and ammonia reception facilities. Details are available on the CNP Certification Portal Site.
