This page announces the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's initiative to promote i-Construction by developing a 3D data utilization policy. The i-Construction Promotion Consortium's 3D Data Distribution and Utilization Working Group is examining rules for 3D data utilization in construction sites and building data systems including open data. The ministry is now recruiting best practice examples of 3D data utilization across various fields, not limited to construction. Selected cases will be presented at a working group meeting scheduled for late December.
