About this page
This page provides information about the Sustainable Land Management Subcommittee under Japan's National Land Council, established on October 18, 2005. The subcommittee investigated specialized matters related to national land use plans and national land formation plans. The committee ceased operations after its 15th meeting on November 22, 2007. Chaired by Shigeyoshi Kobayashi, an engineering professor at Yokohama National University, it comprised experts from universities, local governments, and various professional fields.
