About this page
This page introduces the National Land Policy Bureau's guide for utilizing GIS to examine regional issues. The guide assists local governments in analyzing their regional strategies using accessible GIS software and national data. The four-part manual covers: Part 1 - objectives of regional analysis; Part 2 - specific GIS operational procedures; Part 3 - advanced applications; and Part 4 - basic information on GIS and data acquisition methods. The guide is available for download, and dataset DVDs are also provided upon request from the contact office.
